Welcome to the Arms of Life Website!

Seniors at Center Grove High School taking time after graduation ceremonies to remember Travis, who would have graduated with them, at the memorial at Stones Crossing Road near the railroad tracks. June 5, 2016.
11 years ago, February 3rd - Jake and Travis left this earth way too soon. Miss and love them always. Time will never heal our aching hearts. See you both one glorious day!
On February 3, 2007 the night before Super Bowl 41 between the Indianapolis Colts and the Chicago Bears,
Jake and Travis Findley were riding home with another family when they were tragically killed when the SUV they
were riding in was struck by a train at a railroad crossing with no lights or cross arms in Greenwood, Indiana. Jake was age 12 and Travis was age 9.
Amazingly and thankfully, the three members of the other family all survived.
Jake and Travis were huge Colts fans but didn't get to see the big game (at least here on earth). In our minds, God gave them the best seats
they could have ever imagined and we are sure they cheered from above as their beloved Colts took the championship back to Indianapolis.
Jake and Travis are truly missed by family and friends and we will forever have a huge hole in our hearts that will never be replaced. But even as short as their lives were, they blessed our family beyond anything we could ever express in words and thankful that we had them for 12 and 9 years as these were the best years of our lives. We cherish the memories and live one day at a time and honor them in every way we can as they would only want us to be happy.
As you browse through this website and click the links above you will see some great pictures, videos and other information that will show you their great love for life and how they were full of love for each other and many others. You will see their great spirit and why they were truly gifts from God and extraordinarily special and why we were so blessed to have them for the years we did.
If there is anything to take from your visit to this website, remember that life is a gift, it is precious and fragile. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, so be thankful for each and every day, never take a single day for granted and never take your loved ones for granted. God Bless you all!!!
