The Arms of Life Fund has met its original goal of upgrading four crossings in the Center Grove area including the crossing where the accident took place. The Arms of Life effort can be used as a template for other communities that suffer through tragedies. However, if you feel there is a dangerous intersection, crossing or whatever it may be, speak up, talk to your community leaders about your concerns. You never know what lives may be saved just because you were proactive. I know we sure wished we would have started this mission sooner, before lives had to be lost.
